IT services firm Big Bang launches management consulting arm

Big Bang, a Montreal-based company specializing in cloud transformation, has added new offerings in management consulting – including strategy planning, training, and staff augmentation.

Founded in Montreal 2014, Big Bang’s core solutions practice supports mid-market companies with cloud solution selection and services – including implementation, migration, development, and integration. The firm works with platforms such as Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and ServiceNow.

The company has 100 employees, and has completed more than 250 implementation projects and 500+ support and optimization engagements. The firm opened an international office in Mauritius in 2015 to support EMEA customers, and followed that with a Paris office in 2019 support the French market.

The company has now expanded its services offerings with two new business divisions: Big Bang Plan for digital strategy planning and advice, and Big Bang &Co for training programs and staffing services.

The planning practice’s consultants will help clients build an effective digital strategy that considers best practices, emerging trends, and the wide range of available tools and solutions – all while tailoring plans to an organization’s goals and culture. The practice will also offer digital maturity assessments to benchmark where a company is in its digital journey compared to its peers.

Big Bang &Co, meanwhile, will deliver a range of training courses and customized training covering topics such as business communication, cloud computing, employee onboarding, accounting basics, and requirement gathering. The practice’s staff augmentation offering will provide a Big Bang consultant for temporary engagements of up to a year, allowing clients to reduce the cost of finding the right technical talent. Finally, the practice will support companies with recruitment processes, including the selection of recruitment tools and providing and interviewing candidates.
