Engine Digital hires and promotes three senior leaders
Engine Digital, a Vancouver-headquartered digital consulting firm, has hired Marie Gosal as executive design director and promoted Laura Falconer to executive strategy director. The firm also promoted Eugene Huh to principal strategist.
Gosal and Falconer, who are both based in Vancouver, will co-lead a newly unified strategy and design team.
Gosal will be responsible for leading Engine Digital’s design practice, including evolving processes and methods and ensuring quality of client work.
She brings nearly 20 years of experience advising brands on the agency and client-side, with expertise in verticals such as healthtech, fintech, ecommerce, and B2B SaaS.
Gosal most recently spent over five years with Metalab, where she was head of design. Before that, she was creative director at Lululemon. Gosal also previously worked at agencies Critical Mass and Blast Radius.
Falconer has been at Engine Digital for the last four years and has led engagements in product design and e-commerce. As executive strategy director, she will lead teams in research, product design, content strategy, experience design, and service design.
Based in Toronto, Huh has been at Engine Digital for 11 years, leading strategy engagements with clients such as MasterCard, HP, and Huawei. As principal strategist, he will guide the agency’s new ventures, innovation, and research work.
“Marie’s addition to our team, along with Laura and Eugene’s strategic promotions, elevate our strength in helping our clients create better customer experiences and unlock growth with purpose,” said Stephen Beck, CEO of Engine Digital.
Engine Digital was founded in 2002 and provides consulting in brand strategy, customer and user experience, product design and engineering, and analytics and optimization, among other areas. The firm has offices in Vancouver, Toronto, and New York, and has 30 employees listed on LinkedIn.
