Slalom supports IG Wealth Management on advisor portal
Slalom, a management and technology consulting firm, has helped IG Wealth Management build and roll out a digital advisor portal built on the Salesforce platform.
The Wealth Management Advisory Portal was built on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, and provides IG’s advisors with a 360-degree view of clients and prospects. The portal can also streamline client interactions via guided digitized business flows, and allows advisors to work with their clients anywhere and anytime on mobile devices.
Slalom helped IG plan and implement the portal, and is also providing ongoing application development services for Salesforce. The consulting firm rolled out the advisor portal using a fully remote support model, reaching approximately 5,000 users in 67 offices nationwide. The portal has been a critical tool for advisors during a pandemic that has limited in-person meetings with clients.

IG Wealth Management provides services in investment, retirement, estate, and tax planning, among other areas. The company is a part of Winnipeg-based IGM Financial, which also includes Investment Planning Counsel and Mackenzie Investments, and has assets under management of $196 billion as of September 30, 2020. IGM is a part of Montreal-based Power Financial, which also owns majority stakes in Great-West Lifeco and Wealthsimple.
