WSP Canada promotes Corey McNair to sector leader for earth and environment
WSP Canada has promoted Corey McNair to sector leader for earth and environment, effective June 29.
Based in Toronto, McNair will oversee a team of 4,000+ earth and environment team members across the country.
McNair is a professional engineer with over 15 years of experience delivering projects in nuclear, construction, transportation, and environment. He joined WSP in 2019 as VP for transportation and major projects before being appointed SVP for the environment sector in Ontario and Atlantic Canada in 2021.
“Corey has a proven track record of putting people first to drive growth, develop new markets and foster an engaging team culture. He also played a key role over the last three years in the expansion of the Earth and Environment sector,” said Marie-Claude Dumas, president and CEO of WSP Canada.
Before joining WSP, McNair was a director in the civil division of EllisDon and a senior design team lead and project manager at Bruce Power.
He has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Western University.
WSP Canada has 12,000 professionals delivering strategic advisory, engineering, and design services in transportation, infrastructure, environment, buildings, energy, water, and mining. The wider firm has 67,000 employees globally.
WSP Canada earlier this year named Pierre Pichet as chief operating officer and Jazz Pabla as chief innovation officer.
