Executive recruitment consultancy Humanis Montreal LP launches
Humanis Montreal LP, an affiliate firm of Edmonton-based executive recruitment firm Humanis Advisory, has launched in the Quebec market.
The firm will work closely with Humanis Advisory, which launched last year under the leadership of managing partner Diane Wheatley, who previously served as chief administrative officer of Optimum Talent.
Humanis Advisory expanded into Calgary in March through a merger with Pekarsky & Co. The firm also has a Toronto office.
The addition of Humanis Montreal, which currently has seven team members, will grow the overall Humanis team to 27 people. The team provides expertise in executive recruitment, coaching, strategic consulting, and leadership development.
Humanis Montreal is led by co-managing partners Cynthia Labonté and Yanouk Poirier, recruitment industry veterans who were previously managing partner and managing director, respectively, at Leaders International Executive Search.
Labonté and Poirier expect the company to achieve rapid growth through the addition of new partners and strategic acquisitions in the French-speaking markets of Quebec City and Ottawa.
"We are putting everything in place to become the leading firm in Canada in our field within the next five years. We are also deeply involved with our Penrhyn International network, allowing us to meet the strategic needs of our clients on a global scale. We contribute to the growth of businesses not only in Quebec but across the country and beyond," Poirier said.
Penrhyn International is a network of retained executive search firms across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. Labonté and Poirier’s prior firm, Leaders International, is also a member of the network.
“The values of diversity, excellence, and collaboration are at the heart of our approach,” Labonté added. “We build high-performing, inclusive leadership teams that demonstrate our commitment to creating a lasting impact across all economic sectors."
