BDO Canada last week announced a partnership with Workday, a leading provider of enterprise software for human capital management (HCM) and financial management.

As a Workday sales and services partner, BDO will help clients modernize their HR and finance functions – including simplifying operations and improving decision-making to drive long-term growth.

“Through our partnership with Workday, we’re helping organizations modernize with confidence, accelerate digital transformation, and achieve stronger business outcomes,” said Jesaiah Mills, partner, HR technology and transformation, BDO Canada.

The Workday partnership arrives shortly after BDO sold its Dayforce practice to Deloitte Canada. Workday is a significantly more popular solution, holding 19.76% market share of the HCM market compared to 2.65% for Dayforce, according to data from 6sense.

“BDO will help organizations experience the full benefits of Workday’s enterprise AI platform, giving Canadian customers a clear path from strategy to execution,” said Edward Charter, Canada country manager, Workday. “This partnership builds on our $1 billion, five-year investment in the Canadian market and our commitment to helping organizations here modernize HR, finance, and planning with confidence.”

BDO’s human resources technology and transformation practice – as well as specialists across finance, technology, and advisory – will provide advisory, implementation, and optimization services for Workday HCM, financial management, and adaptive planning.

BDO provides accounting, tax, and consulting services to mid-market clients across the country. The Toronto-headquartered firm has more than 5,000 people across 80+ offices nationwide.
