Levio, a Quebec City-headquartered IT consulting firm, this week celebrated its 10th year in business.

Founded in 2014, the firm’s name – Levio – derives from the Latin for “to make lighter.” The firm says it helps companies cut through bureaucracy and rigid structures that can hinder organizational growth.

Levio has grown quickly in the last decade to reach nearly 2,000 employees across 12 offices in Canada, the US, France, Morocco, and India. That growth has been underpinned by organic growth as well as a steady stream of acquisitions, with 11 completed since its founding – including Soljit, Indellient, Voonyx, Landry & Associates, Logimethods, and ERP Connex.

"Since our founding, we've attracted top consultants by fostering an intrapreneurial culture and personal growth through our career development platform,” said François Dion, founder and president of Levio. “To facilitate collaboration, our operating model promotes autonomy and accountability within a flat organizational structure.”

recent investment from institutional investor CDPQ will help Levio further expand its geographical scope and service offerings.

"We're extremely proud of what we've accomplished over the past ten years," Dion said. "But we won't stop there. We have big plans for the future, especially with the arrival of CDPQ as a financial partner, and we're excited to see what the next decade has in store."

Levio was one of Canada's Top Growing Companies for 2022 and 2023 and one of America's Fastest-Growing Companies for 2021.

The firm supports over 300 clients globally with the planning, management, and execution of digital transformation programs. Levio has domain expertise across AI, data and analytics, cloud, and cybersecurity.
