Levio, a Quebec City-headquartered IT consulting firm, has opened an office in Mumbai, India.

The new India operations will serve as a development centre to support global delivery. Levio previously opened a delivery centre in Morocco.

The consulting firm says India provides an “impressive pool of IT talent” and has evolved beyond a location for simple cost arbitrage.

“India's vision to become a world-leading digital economy is aligned with Levio's strategy of becoming a preferred global partner in digital transformation,” said François Dion, president and founder.
