Deloitte Canada buys AE Cloud Consultants

Deloitte Canada has acquired AE Cloud Consultants (AECC), a Montreal-based NetSuite consulting firm.

Founded in 2015, AECC specializes in implementing and integrating Oracle NetSuite, a popular enterprise software platform catering to small and mid-sized companies. AECC helps clients across industries deploy backend and frontend solutions for financial management, order management, production management, supply chain management, warehouse and fulfillment, procurement, capital management, project management, and customer relationship management. The firm also supports Celigo, an integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) for NetSuite.

AECC has approximately 20 employees, according to LinkedIn.

Deloitte’s acquisition of AECC will bolster its presence with mid-market clients in Quebec and strengthen its NetSuite practice.

"AECC's team of highly specialized consultants, and leadership in the cloud space, will greatly impact our ability to provide and expand our existing NetSuite offerings,” said Anthony Viel, CEO, Deloitte Canada. “Likewise, the addition of AECC will further ensure our mid-market clients feel supported at every stage of their digital journeys."

As part of the deal, for which financial terms were not disclosed, AECC founder Ayman El Khashab will join Deloitte Consulting as a director.

“Leveraging Deloitte's global access will allow us to lengthen our reach, and coupled with our emerging technology focus, will provide real value to customers and open up new pathways to successful NetSuite Cloud Services," El Khashab said.

The transaction follows Deloitte’s April acquisition of MDB Insight, a Toronto-based consulting firm specializing in economic and workforce development.
