Atos, a global technology consultancy, has acquired AppCentrica, a Toronto-headquartered management and technology consulting firm specializing in Salesforce cloud application services.
Founded in 2010, AppCentrica delivers services in cloud application modernization and development, as well as Salesforce and MuleSoft consulting. The firm works with large companies in financial services and manufacturing, among other industries.
Atos’ acquisition of AppCentrica will add approximately 90 cloud and Salesforce experts to its Canadian division, which has offices in Montreal and Toronto.
“With AppCentrica becoming part of the Atos family, we are enhancing our expertise in Canada in strategic domains. Aligned with our mission statement, we will continue to accelerate our collaborations with our customers to provide them with secured, decarbonized digital solutions as part of their business transformation programs,” said Valerie Milone, head of Atos Canada.Atos earlier this year expanded its Canada operations with the acquisition of Processia, a Montreal-based IT consultancy specializing in product lifecycle management (PLM) technology, and In Fidem, a Montreal-based cybersecurity consultancy. The deals added a combined 350 people to Atos.
“Joining the Atos team will accelerate our mutual growth in Canada, provide a platform to deliver AppCentrica's Enterprise Cloud Transformation services at scale, and create new and exciting opportunities for our employees,” said Ed Nemes, CEO and co-founder of AppCentrica.
