GlassRatner enters Quebec with acquisition of executive search firm Intel2Talent
GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group, an Atlanta-headquartered financial consulting firm, has entered the Quebec market with the acquisition of Intel2Talent Canada (I2T), a Montreal-based executive search and leadership consulting firm.
Founded in 2018 by Brigitte Simard, I2T provides recruitment, talent management, and leadership solutions to clients across industries. The boutique firm has four professionals listed on its website.
GlassRatner’s acquisition of I2T will expand its Canadian operations into the province of Quebec and strengthen its executive search practice. Simard will join as managing director and head of the Montreal executive search practice, while JP Daoust like join as partner and head of the Canadian PE and industrials vertical.
Simard and Daoust each bring 25+ years of experience in executive search and leadership advisory.
“Adding an established and reputable executive search team in Montreal closes a gap in our Canadian practice and opens the door to deeper relationships with Quebec-based companies, boards, and private equity sponsors. We are thrilled to welcome them onto our platform,” said Ian Brenner, senior managing director and leader of GlassRatner’s executive search practice.
GlassRatner in a press release said that while the executive search practice anchors the montreal office, the acquisition will enable the firm to extend its full service line into Quebec – including restructuring and turnaround management, forensic accounting and litigation support, and corporate finance and business advisory services.
“We were drawn to GlassRatner because of its entrepreneurial culture and the integrated platform it offers to serve clients across North America, without losing the personal, relationship-driven approach our work demands," said Brigitte Simard. The fact that GlassRatner is backed by TorQuest, a Canadian PE firm with deep roots and a long-term view, made the decision even easier.”
GlassRatner was acquired by TorQuest in 2025. The US firm had previously expanded into Canada via the 2023 acquisition of Farber Financial’s commercial group.
GlassRatner was founded in 2001 and has more than 200 employees across more than a dozen offices in North America – including Canadian locations in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Halifax, and now Montreal.
