MNP acquires Kamloops firm Finnie Hunka LLP

MNP, a national mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has acquired Finnie Hunka LLP, a Kamloops, BC-based accounting firm, effective October 15, 2024.

Founded in 2018, Finnie Hunka provides services in accounting and bookkeeping, income and excise taxes, financial statements, succession planning, financial statements, and management consulting to clients in the Thompson Okanagan region.

The firm is led by Ken Finnie and Kimberly Hunka and has a team of ten staff members.

The Finnie Hunka team will continue to be based in their Kamloops office and will work closely with MNP’s existing teams in the Okanagan.

The firm’s BC acquisitions this year include Kevin C. Schindler Inc., Clear Choice HR Consulting, and The Jouta Performance Group.
