MNP, a national mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has acquired Kevin C. Schindler Inc. (KCS), a White Rock, BC-based accounting firm, effective October 1, 2024.

KCS provides professional services in business income tax, estate planning and trusts, year-end accounting, personal income tax and bookkeeping services. The boutique firm works with local small businesses, mining companies, startups, and high net-worth individuals.

KCS has seven employees, according to its website.

“MNP has a long history in British Columbia, working with businesses in the area for nearly 30 years,” said Ryan Hoag, MNP’s regional managing partner for the Lower Mainland. “Kevin and the KCS team share our passion for supporting British Columbia’s business community and this merger will help us to reach and support more organizations with their journey. We are excited to welcome them into the MNP family.”

Kevin Schindler, who has more than 30 years of experience, will join MNP as a partner. The KCS team will move to MNP’s Surrey office in the Lower Mainland.

“MNP complements and enhances our current service offerings and brings greater bench strength that I’m very confident will help us to provide our clients with even greater value in the future,” Schindler said.

MNP earlier this year acquired Clear Choice HR Consulting and The Jouta Performance Group, two Vancouver-based human resources consulting firms.

MNP is headquartered in Calgary and has more than 8,200 people in 125+ offices nationwide.
