Vancouver HR consultancy Harbour West Consulting rebrands

Harbour West Consulting (HWC), a North Vancouver-based recruitment and human resources consulting firm, has launched a new brand identity after 15 years in business.

Founded in 2008 by principal Carol Robinson, HWC provides services in recruitment, HR consulting, and Indigenous consulting.

The HR consulting business has offerings in compensation and benefits, onboarding and offboarding, organizational design, people and culture, performance development, and workplace policies and procedures. The Indigenous consulting business has offerings in recruitment support, leadership assessment and development planning, and workshops.

Since its founding, HWC has helped 130+ organizations place over 400 candidates.

The firm has a team of 16 professionals, according to its website.

“HWC takes pride in our ability to cater to the needs of our clients, no matter how big or small," said Robinson. "By adopting a tailored approach, we can view an organization through a unified lens, which allows us to create roadmaps to help businesses achieve their goals."

The firm’s new brand identity was created with Ion Brand Design, a Vancouver-based branding agency.

The new branding features calming greens and blues that reflect the natural elements of the HWC’s West Coast home. The curved lines of topographical maps inspired new imagery on the firm’s website and reflect the consultancy’s role as a guide and navigator.

The rebrand’s modern typography, meanwhile, features clean lines and letterforms.
