BDO Canada adds Keith Keating as chief learning and development officer
BDO Canada, a mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has hired Keith Keating, EdD, as its first chief learning and development officer.
Based in Toronto, Keating brings 23 years of experience in learning and development across sectors including financial services, IT consulting, and manufacturing. In his new role, Keating will focus on unlocking and nurturing the professional and personal growth of BDO’s people, as well as aligning the firm’s learning and development strategy with the needs of its people and clients.
Keating was previously chief learning and talent officer at Archwell, head of the global learning network at General Motors, and senior director and global learning strategist at GP Strategies. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he was a senior trainer/analyst.
Keating has doctor and master of education degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MBA from the City University of New York and a bachelor’s degree in business from SUNY Empire State College.
