Gallagher buys Montreal-based PCI Compensation Consulting

Gallagher, a global insurance broking and HR consulting firm, has acquired PCI Compensation Consulting, a Montreal-based firm specializing in total compensation and governance.

Founded in 2001, PCI has more than 25 professionals who deliver services in total compensation strategy, benchmarks, communications, training, and outsourcing. The firm also conducts regular surveys on trends in compensation and provides up-to-date databases on the compensation market.

PCI underwent a couple of milestones in recent years. Two years ago, founder André Perrault left the company. In September 2021, the firm rebranded from PCI-Perrault Consulting to PCI Compensation Consulting.

Gallagher’s acquisition of PCI will strengthen the Chicago-headquartered firm’s compensation consulting offering in Canada.

PCI’s leaders – Bridgit Courey, Marc Chartrand, Dominic Girard, and Dominique Thuot – and their team will remain at their current office location. They will report to Melanie Jeannotte, CEO of Gallagher's benefit and HR consulting division in Canada.

The firm has more than 39,000 professionals across operations in 68 countries and posted revenue of more than $8 billion in 2021.
