MNP expands to Ormstown through acquisition of Dumas Leduc
MNP, a national mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has acquired Dumas Leduc, an Ormstown, QC-based chartered professional accounting firm.
The acquisition, which is effective June 1, 2026, will give MNP an office location in Ormstown, approximately 60 kilometres southwest of Montreal.
For more than 30 years, Dumas Leduc has provided assurance, tax, and business advice to clients primarily in agriculture - including dairy and crop farms and businesses related to farming.
Partners Julie Leduc and Stéphanie Ouimet will join MNP as partners. Managers Mylène Poirier-Maheu and Stéphanie Barrière will also join MNP as partners, supported by a staff of six professionals.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Dumas Leduc CPA Inc. team to our firm. We have been looking for a firm that was a good fit with our existing team in the Montérégie region,” said Eric Grondin, regional managing partner for the South of Quebec region, MNP. “The firm’s extensive client base in the agricultural sector is also of particular interest to us as we continue to meet growing demand for our services in this area.”
MNP in 2024 acquired Montérégie region accountancies LD CPA and BDG CPA.
Headquartered in Calgary, MNP has 9,700 people across 150+ offices in Canada.
The firm entered the Quebec market in 2011 and today has 39 offices, 239 partners, and over 1,550 team members in the province.
“MNP complements and enhances our current service offerings and brings greater support that will help us service our clients as they grow and their needs change. This merger also provides new opportunities for our people to learn and develop their careers by working with MNP’s diverse teams and client base,” said Julie Leduc.
