MNP partners with Microsoft on agentic AI solutions
MNP, a national accounting and consulting firm, has expanded its partnership with Microsoft to provide agentic AI solutions to mid-market organizations.
The Calgary-headquartered accountancy says it has launched MNP AI Foundry – an innovation hub that guides clients though every step of the AI journey, from opportunity identification to scaling of solutions.
The foundry has been working with mid-market clients to scale Microsoft 365 Copilot and other agents across their businesses. MNP says its professionals have been developing Microsoft platform templates, extensions, and connectors to help clients leverage generative AI to improve efficiency and growth.
Agentic AI refers to artificial intelligence systems that can act autonomously and perform tasks with little to no human intervention.
“As Microsoft has established a dominant position in the AI space, we are leveraging that leadership by combining our industry knowledge and technical expertise to deliver best-in-class AI solutions for the mid-market,” said Ahmed Otmani Amaoui, MNP’s Microsoft practice leader.
MNP has integrated Copilot and OpenAI solutions into its internal operations. The firm says it has benefitted from 75 minutes saved per meeting and a 30% reduction in content development costs.
“Our collaboration with Microsoft positions MNP as Canada’s go-to advisor for responsible, business-first AI,” added Sean Murphy, MNP’s national digital solutions leader.
In the public sector, MNP has supported the development of a citizen-facing agent to streamline municipal services, and in the healthcare sector the firm has helped automate nurse intake processes.
“By combining Microsoft’s cutting-edge AI platforms with MNP’s unique insight, sector know-how, and IP, we’re empowering medium enterprise customers to accelerate their AI value realization — not just with tools, but with transformative outcomes,” said Ehsan Youssef, SME and channel leader at Microsoft Canada.
MNP’s digital services business has offerings in strategy, platforms, data, cybersecurity, enterprise transformation, application development, cloud, and managed IT services.
The firm has 9,700 people across 150+ offices in Canada.
