Heidrick & Struggles promotes Luke Weaver to partner in Toronto office

Heidrick & Struggles, an executive search and HR consulting firm, has promoted Luke Weaver to partner in its Toronto office. Weaver was one of 17 partner promotions that came into effect on January 1, 2025.

Weaver has been at Heidrick & Struggles since 2022, joining the firm’s financial services practice as a principal. His search practice focuses on senior-level roles across business lines and functions for banks, asset managers, insurance firms, pension funds, private capital, and alternative platforms.

Weaver has over 17 years of recruitment and talent experience. He previously was a managing director at CPP Investments, where he led the experienced hires talent acquisition team for the Americas and Europe. Before that, he was a search consultant at boutique firm Hinton Rose, focusing on alternative asset management and sub-investment grade credit.

Weaver has a bachelor’s degree from Nottingham Trent University in England.
