Ines Gbegan joins Alithya's board of directors

Ines Gbegan, an experienced chartered professional accountant, has joined Alithya’s board as an independent director.

Gbegan’s appointment expands the management and technology consultancy’s board to nine members.

Based in Montreal, Gbegan brings over 15 years of experience in audit, corporate accounting, and financial reporting. She is currently VP of Finance at Biron Health Group, where she leads a team of 90 professionals in managing accounting, finance, payroll, treasury management, supply chain, and facilities.

Gbegan previously was VP of finance for Quebec and the Maritimes at transportation firm Transdev Canada. Earlier in her career, she was a manager at CGI, a senior associate at PwC, and an associate at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton.

Gbegan also for six years taught accounting classes at her alma mater HEC Montreal.

She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from HEC Montreal.
