PMP Strategy hires Andrew Wolch as associate partner
PMP Strategy, a Paris-headquartered management consultancy, has hired Andrew Wolch as an associate partner in its financial services and insurance (FSI) practice in Toronto.
In his new role, Wolch will focus on advancing the firm’s FSI practice across Canada.
PMP entered the Canadian market in 2016 with a Montreal office, and added a Toronto location last year.
“We are excited to introduce Andrew as the newest member of PMP Strategy's Financial Services and Insurance practice. With his extensive experience advising prominent industry players throughout North America, Andrew is a valuable addition to our expanding Toronto office,” said Eric Panet-Raymond, PMP Strategy’s managing partner for Canada.
Wolch has 20 years of consulting experience, with a focus on developing and implementing enterprise, business unit, and operational strategies. He has particular expertise supporting clients in the insurance sector.
Wolch joins PMP from Burnie Group, a boutique Toronto management consultancy, where he spent the last three years as leader of the insurance practice. In the role, he advised large Canadian property and casualty and life insurers on corporate strategy, target operating models, and organizational structure.
Before that, Wolch was an independent consultant to several large FSI companies, including Aviva, RBC Insurance, and ScotiaMcLeod.
Earlier in his career, Wolch spent six years at Monitor Deloitte, where he was a senior manager in the corporate strategy practice.
He has an MBA from Western University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Queen’s University.
“Being part of the global team at PMP Strategy has been great, and I want to thank everyone who has made me feel welcome,” Wolch said. “I'm looking forward to working together in shaping our Canadian clients' future success.”
PMP recently expanded into the United States with a new Seattle office.
The French firm was founded in 2003 and has more than 150 people across offices in EMEA and North America. The firm provides consulting in strategy and transformation, finance and performance, due diligence, digital, and big data. Its focus sectors are telecom, media, and technology (TMT), transport and mobility, energy, and financial services.
