Jean-Christian Dupont joins Aecom as national defence client account manager
Jean-Christian Dupont, an experienced business development leader, has joined infrastructure consultancy Aecom as client account manager for the Department of National Defence (DND), Defence Construction Canada, and the defence and security industry in Canada.
Dupont brings more than 25 years of experience in consulting, aerospace & defence, and research & development – with expertise in business development, operations, manufacturing, repair and maintenance, and engineering.
Based in Ottawa, Dupont joins Aecom from non-profit R&D firm C-Core, where he was director of business development. Before that, he held the same role at outsourced government services firm Serco.
Prior to that, he was director of engineering & operations at CAE, an aerospace parts maker. Earlier in his career, Dupont worked at Bombardier Aerospace, L3Harris Technologies, Rolls-Royce Canada, and Pratt & Whitney Canada.
He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke and is a certified professional engineer.
