Aecom hires Greg Quandt as Canada environmental leader
Aecom, a global design and engineering consulting firm, has hired Greg Quandt to lead its environmental regional business line for Canada.
Based in Burnaby, BC, Quandt brings nearly 30 years of experience in environmental services to Aecom, where he will oversee the environmental business line’s regional growth strategy, key client accounts, top-line revenue, and quality and safety.
He joins Aecom from Stantec, where he spent the last two years as VP in the environmental services practice. Before that, he spent 12 years at Hemmera, where he was latterly SVP for national operations.
Earlier in his career, Quandt spent nine years at URS (now Aecom) where he was department head of strategic environmental management.He has a bachelor’s degree in geological engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a project management professional and environmental professional.

Aecom’s environmental practice provides services in remediation, assessment and permitting, air quality, water and waste, engineering, construction management, and climate adaptation, among other areas.
