Automation specialist Ashling opens Montreal office
Ashling, a Chicago-headquartered AI and automation consulting firm, has opened its second Canadian location with the launch of a Montreal office.
The consultancy, which also has a Toronto office, will expand its footprint into Quebec. The new Montreal location will help clients across the province operationalize AI, accelerate adoption, and build internal capabilities to sustain long-term success.
“By opening our Montreal office, we are positioning ourselves to tap into a unique talent pool and strengthen our long-term ability to help Quebec enterprises turn AI ambition into meaningful business impact,” said Don Sweeney, co-CEO of Ashling.
The office will be led by Nicolas Payeur, client principal, and comprises a bilingual team of applied AI experts, solution architects, developers, business analysts, and operating model architects. Ashling is currently hiring for intelligent automation developers and AI business analysts.
“I’m excited to build something here that supports local companies and helps us grow our presence across Canada,” Payeur said.
Payeur joined Ashling in 2024 through its acquisition of automation services firm Reveal Group, where he was a partner. Before joining Reveal Group in 2018, Payeur spent three years with EY, where he was a senior actuarial consultant.
Ashling was founded in 2016 and has more than 250 employees across offices in Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Bucharest, Melbourne, and Hyderabad.
The firm specializes in digital process transformation, with expertise in agentic AI, robotic process automation, and intelligent document processing. Ashling works with companies in banking and financial services, manufacturing, and retail, among other industries.
