Pinnacle Actuarial Resources expands into Canada

Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, a Bloomington, Illinois-based actuarial consulting firm, has expanded into Canada with launch of Pinnacle Actuarial Resources of Canada Inc.

The new subsidiary, which is located in Toronto, is Pinnacle’s first international subsidiary. It will support the consultancy’s existing Canadian clients as well as enable it to enhance its services and expand its client roster in the country.

Pinnacle – which focuses on serving property and casualty (P&C) insurance clients – says the P&C market in Canada continues to experience growth.

“Pinnacle’s established leadership in key sectors, such as captive insurance, automobile insurance, and fairness, makes our firm uniquely well-suited to serve the needs of the Canadian market. We are looking forward to providing Canadian insurers with Pinnacle’s industry-leading innovations, industry expertise, and customer service,” said managing principal Roosevelt Mosley.

Pinnacle has 40 employees listed on its website and offices in Bloomington, Chicago, Atalanta, and San Francisco. It is among the United States’ largest independent P&C actuarial firms.

Pinnacle has practices in enterprise risk management, fairness consulting, predictive analytics, reinsurance, litigation support, and pricing and product management, among other areas. The firm has industry expertise across agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, contractors, and staffing.
