Levio buys Ottawa consulting firm Systemscope

Levio, a Quebec City-headquartered IT consulting firm, has acquired Systemscope, a boutique, Ottawa-based public sector consulting firm.
Founded in 1990, Systemscope supports departments and agencies across federal and provincial governments with digital transformation projects. The firm has practices in management and transformation, strategy and planning, web and digital, UX and service design, and information and data.
Systemscope has 38 employees listed on LinkedIn.
Levio’s acquisition of Systemscope will strengthen its government sector capabilities and Ottawa office.
“This is a highly strategic acquisition for Levio, which will reinforce our presence in the public sector and better serve the Ottawa market,” said François Dion, Levio's president and founder. “We strongly value Systemscope's talented team, rich expertise, strong leadership, client relationships, and unique offerings. Together, we can achieve great things and drive positive outcomes for all stakeholders.”
Levio last year received a $125-million investment from CDPQ to support its ongoing growth. The firm was founded in 2014 and today has more than 2,000 consultants across 11 offices in Canada, the United States, Morocco, India, and France.
“This partnership gives our team the opportunity to grow, collaborate with incredible talent, and bring even greater impact to our clients across Canada and beyond. I'm truly energized by what we can build together," said Stephen Karam, Systemscope's president.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
