BDO Canada welcomes new partners Martha Breithaupt and Keyur Bhojak
BDO Canada has hired Martha Breithaupt and Keyur Bhojak as partners in its Brantford and Toronto offices, respectively.
Breithaupt joins BDO as a tax partner in the SR&ED government incentive services team. She brings more than 20 years of experience as a tax practitioner and scientist.
Breithaupt most recently spent 10 years with Grant Thornton Canada, where she was latterly national leader for R&D and government incentives. She also served as a member of the partnership board and as chair of governance.
Before that, Breithaupt spent five years as a senior manager at Deloitte and seven years at OME Group Consultants (now EY), where she was latterly a business development manager.
She has a bachelor’s degree in science and business from the University of Waterloo and an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Bhojak joins as a transaction services partner in the financial advisory services team. He has over 20 years of experience leading complex transactions for clients in a range of industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing, technology, real estate, and education.
Bhojak specializes in buy- and sell-side due diligence for private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporations.
He joins BDO from KPMG, where he spent nearly 18 years in deal advisory, latterly as a partner. Before that, he was an accountant at K C Mehta & Co. in India.
Bhojak has a bachelor of commerce degree from MS University and a diploma in finance management from NMIMS in India, and is a chartered accountant in India.
