Rob Shull has joined the forensic accounting and commercial damages (FACD) practice of HKA as a partner based in Toronto.

Shull brings more than 25 years of experience advising clients on financial modeling, data capture, damage quantification, and administration of class action litigation.

He has completed numerous damages quantifications relating to alleged management and employee fraud. Shull has worked with clients in a diverse range of industries and has prepared expert reports and testified in various levels of court as well as arbitrations.

He joins HKA from PwC Canada, where he spent the last eight years as a managing director in the forensics and disputes practice. Shull also previously spent 18 years at EY, where he was latterly a VP in the fraud investigation and dispute services practice.

He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Saskatchewan and a diploma in investigative and forensic accounting from the University of Toronto. Shull is a certified public accountant and certified in financial forensics in the United States, and is a chartered professional accountant and certified forensic investigator in Canada.

“We are excited to welcome Rob to the HKA team as we expand our Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages practice throughout Canada. Rob’s extensive experience will significantly enhance our FACD team’s capabilities. We look forward to working closely with him,” said Rick Moffat, partner and head of HKA’s Canada operations.

“I’m excited to join the team at HKA in Canada and work with my new colleagues across the business to assist clients with forensic accounting and commercial litigation matters,” Shull said.
