Aptum, a Toronto-based cloud managed services and consulting firm, has appointed Ian Rae as CEO and president of the company, JP Rosato as chairman of the board, and David Wigglesworth as chief revenue officer.

Aptum says the appointments will help it “capitalize on the growing AI-driven demand of Multi-Cloud solutions in the market.”

Rae will on September 1 succeed Susan Bowen, who led the company for the last five years.

Based in Montreal, Rae has more than 25 years of experience in software development, cloud operations, and managed services. He joined Aptum earlier this year when it acquired his consulting firm CloudOps. He also previously founded and sold cloud.ca, a cloud computing infrastructure-as-a-service company.

Before founding his companies, Rae was VP of engineering at Coradiant and CIO of Canderel.

“Susan has built a world-class organization with remarkable talent and a solid business plan, and I look forward to continuing to innovate and expand our comprehensive solution set,” Rae said. “Aptum is well-positioned to offer true, end-to-end hybrid solutions for our global customers.”
