John Ingold, Joanna Lewis, and Michael Moerman join Capco's partnership
Two months after adding Doug Carsley to its Canadian partnership, Capco has appointed three further partners in Canada. John Ingold, Joanna Lewis, and Michael Moerman all bring more than twenty years of industry experience to serve Capco’s growing client base in the country.
Founded in 1998, Capco supports financial services institutions with a range of management consulting and technology consulting services. The firm has over 4,000 consultants across 27 offices worldwide – the Toronto office, Capco’s only operation in Canada, was launched in 2005.
Two of the three new partners in Toronto have been promoted internally. Now in his 20th year with Capco, Michael Moerman has a wealth of experience architecting, designing, delivering, and managing large-scale technology solutions in the financial services industry. In his new role, Moerman – a Belgian national – will lead Capco Canada’s Technology practice.
Joanna Lewis has been with Capco since 2009, when she joined from BearingPoint – which went bankrupt in North America that year following a series of poor management decisions that led to an unrecoverable debt burden.* Prior to that, she worked four years at BMO Financial Group as a business improvement consultant and finance analyst. During her consulting career, she has specialized in transformational change and data-enabled solution programs. As a partner, Lewis will lead Capco’s Finance, Risk and Compliance; Financial Crimes; and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science practices in Canada.John Ingold has joined Capco from global accounting and consulting firm PwC. He brings more than 25 years of financial services experience to the consulting firm, having led a multitude of client engagements across four continents. Ingold has deep experience in data management, process optimization, risk management, finance, compliance, fraud, and anti-money laundering. At Capco, he has been appointed a partner and will focus on complex transformation initiatives within enterprise functions.
Commenting on the additions to the Canadian partnership, Chris Ford, Partner and Managing Director of Capco Canada said, “We’re thrilled to announce the addition of three capable and renowned individuals to our Canadian partner team. Joanna and Michael have been instrumental in growing our clients in Canada and in solving complex business and technology issues, and John’s history of success is a testament to the value he’ll add to our business in Toronto.”
Last month, PwC, one of Capco’s main rivals in the country, installed a new Canadian leadership team.
