Appnovation announces new global and regional leadership appointments

Appnovation, a Vancouver-headquartered digital consultancy, announced four global and two regional leadership appointments across its operations.

Scott Wassmer (New York), currently president of Americas region, will now also serve as global president. In the expanded role, he will oversee the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions, as well as global operations and global services. Wassmer will work with regional and corporate leadership to drive growth in capabilities, talent, and geographical footprint.

Wassmer joined Appnovation in 2019. He previously served as SVP and group director at Publicis Worldwide.

Yvette Yanne (Hong Kong) has been named EVP of innovation and transformation. In the newly created role, Yanne will accelerate applied innovation solutions to help clients meet their evolving business challenges.

She joined the firm in 2019 as general manager of the APAC region. Yanne was previously a managing partner at Digitas APAC and a general manager at Nurun (both Publicis companies).

John Moyazani (Toronto) is now EVP of global services, where he will mobilize a global workforce to deliver digital solutions to clients and maintain a consistent experience for clients and employees.

He joined Appnovation in 2019 as VP of technology. Moyazani previously served as director of technology for Canada at AKQA and executive director of technology for the Americas at Cheil Worldwide.

Alfredo Reikdal (Sao Paulo) will now lead the firm’s Global Acceleration Studios in addition to his role as managing director of Latin America. The studios comprise squad teams in Bucharest and Sao Paulo that deliver offshore services to global clients.

Reikdal joined Appnovation in 2021 and was previously executive director at InPress Porter Novelli, general manager at Critical Mass, and general manager for Latin America at Sapient Razorfish (now Publicis Sapient).

Leo Tsui (Hong Kong) has joined Appnovation as president of APAC, where he will lead regional expansion, develop new and existing client relationships, and introduce new capabilities. Tsui previously held leadership positions at DDB Group, Tribal Worldwide, and Mirum.

Yann Gautier (London) has been named president of EMEA, where he will drive growth across Appnovation’s five offices in the region. He joined the firm in 2021 as general manager of the global managed services practice.

Gautier was previously a global client partner at Havas CX and a senior director at Publicis Sapient.
