Appnovation adds Romanian office, three EMEA leaders
Appnovation, a Vancouver-headquartered global digital consultancy, has announced a new office in Romania and three senior hires in its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
Opened in April 2022, the Romanian office delivers offshore services to global clients. The new location builds on the Appnovation’s June 2021 expansion into Brazil – with the Sao Paulo office more than tripling in size in the last year.
Founded in 2007, the consulting firm has quickly grown to 400+ people and 16 offices across Canada, the US, Brazil, the UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
The new members of the EMEA team are:
Ben Field-Johnson, who joins as leader of Appnovation’s strategic partnerships in EMEA. He will be responsible for strengthening existing technology partnerships and building new ones to drive company growth and meet client needs. Field-Johnson previously led business development and partnerships for the technology center of excellence at Wunderman Thompson.
Andy Gomes joins as composable technology director in EMEA, where he will develop Appnovation’s global commerce centre of excellence. He previously worked at Accenture and Oracle, where he focused on delivering end-to-end digital solutions to global customers.
Gordon Fisher joins as head of business development in EMEA. He will oversee the business development team in EMEA and drive partnerships with existing and prospective clients. Fisher previously held a similar position at Tribal Worldwide London and in the client services team at AKQA.
Appnovation also announced several high-profile new client project wins, including AstraZeneca, Disney+ Latin America, and Animoca Brands.
