Vaco names Caroline Haché as leader of Montreal accounting and finance division
Vaco, a global staffing and consulting firm, has hired Caroline Haché to lead its new accounting and finance sector recruitment division in Montreal.
Haché brings more than ten years of executive recruiting, finance, and accounting industry experience to Vaco, where she will serve as a managing director. She previously spent seven years at Cielo, a boutique Montreal recruitment firm, where she was director of business relations. Before that, Haché spent three years at global recruiter Drake International, where she was a recruitment consultant.
The Montreal office expansion arrives about a year after Vaco, a Nashville-headquartered consultancy, established a location in the city. The office was spearheaded by a team of former Randstad Canada consultants, headed by managing partner Sean Bartunek.
“Our vision in opening our Montreal office last year was to become the No. 1 talent and solutions firm in Montreal helping clients find what truly drives great companies – great talent. While our focus was on IT and technologies, our goal was to eventually support the finance and accounting industries,” Barunek said.
Vaco expanded into Canada via the 2017 acquisition of Lannick, a Toronto-based recruitment firm focused on accounting, finance, and IT roles. The firm bolstered its Toronto office with last month’s acquisition of Prodigy Bank, a recruiter focusing on roles in the technology and financial services sectors.
“Vaco is an innovative company with a dynamic culture that is experiencing exciting growth in Montreal and across Canada,” said Haché. “As a results-driven talent connector, I am proud to join this amazing team that strives to help people find their dream job!”
Vaco delivers executive search, permanent placement, and strategic staffing services, as well as management consulting via MorganFranklin, which it acquired last year. The firm has more than 1,200 employees in 40+ offices in the US, Canada, and India.
