MNP expands agronomy practice

MNP, a national mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has acquired the agronomy practice of Western Tractor, a Lethbridge, AB-based John Deere dealership.

The transaction, which is effective June 22, will add four team members in Southern Alberta to MNP’s existing agronomy practice.

MNP launched its agronomy practice in 2024 via the acquisition of six boutique firms. Agronomy applies science and technology to better produce plants for food and fuel.

The six acquired firms – numbering eight partners and 27 team members – brought extensive expertise in farming, technology management, and crop planning.

At MNP, the newly added practice team members will continue to provide Southern Alberta farmers with solutions for optimizing agronomy operations and profitability.
