S.i. Systems hires Jeff Cesario as head of North American M&A and corporate strategy

S.i. Systems, a Calgary-headquartered IT staffing and consulting firm, has hired Jeff Cesario as vice president of corporate development and strategy.

Based in New York, Cesario will oversee the company’s acquisition strategy, focusing on its ongoing expansion across the North American market. He will work alongside S.i. Systems’ private equity sponsors to develop an acquisition pipeline, evaluate opportunities, lead due diligence, and support integration and value creation.

S.i. Systems was in 2022 acquired by Cornell Capital and Torquest Partners.

Cesario brings more than 20 years of experience leading acquisitions, integration, capital development, and growth initiatives across the globe. He joins from leadership consultancy Heidrick & Struggles, where he spent eight years and was VP of corporate development, strategy, and real estate. At the firm, he directed M&A lifecycles for cross-border acquisitions and designed and implemented a global M&A governance framework.

Before that, he spent a decade with Great Lakes Equity Partners, where he was a partner.

Cesario has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Carthage College.
