PwC elects Domenic Marino as next CEO in Canada

PwC’s partnership group in Canada has elected Domenic Marino as the firm’s senior partner and CEO, effective July 1, 2026.

Marino, a Toronto-based partner who has been with the Big Four accounting and consulting firm for 25 years, will succeed Nicolas Marcoux, who has led PwC for the last eight years.

“Domenic brings the right combination of market credibility, operational leadership, and a deep commitment to our culture and values,” Marcoux said. “He will continue to build trust with our clients and all our stakeholders.”

Marino has since 2020 led PwC’s national deals practice, which includes offerings across corporate finance, transaction services, performance and restructuring, valuations, value creation, real assets, and forensic services. He is also lead global client partner for one of PwC’s largest clients.

Before serving as deals leader, Marino was head of the forensics/disputes and crisis management practice.

He also has international experience working with other PwC member firms, including two years with PwC in the US in its New York and Washington, DC offices.

Marino has a bachelor’s degree in management and economics from the University of Toronto and is a chartered professional accountant and chartered business valuator.
