MNP acquires Platinum Business Services in Winnipeg

MNP, a national mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has acquired Platinum Business Services, a Winnipeg-based accountancy, effective March 2, 2026.

Founded in 2008 by Greg Libbrecht, Platinum delivers fractional controller, bookkeeping, software implementation, business consulting, training, and succession planning services to clients in a range of industries.

The boutique firm has a team of 16 professionals.

Greg and the entire Platinum Business Services team share our passion for supporting Winnipeg’s business community. Their expertise will help us reach and support more organizations across the province,” said Andrew Stibbard, MNP’s regional managing partner for Winnipeg.

MNP last year expanded its Winnipeg team with the acquisition of Lazer Grant, an accountancy with approximately 40 professionals.
