MNP adds accountancies in Vancouver and Calgary

MNP, a mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has acquired Vancouver-based Sierra Accounting and Calgary-based Kassam Chartered Accountancy.

Gemma Davis, founder and managing partner, and the Sierra team provide accounting and finance services to media and entertainment firms in Vancouver as well as small businesses. The firm has deep expertise serving the city’s film and TV production industry.

Sierra supports industry clients from the start of production through to receipt of tax credit refunds from the CRA and final certifications from film regulatory bodies.

The acquisition is slated to finalize on March 2, 2026.

Minaz Kassam and his firm’s team of nine professional provide a range of tax services to individuals and privately owned, growth companies.

The transaction closed on January 26, 2026.

The firm recently acquired Kanish & Partners, a Toronto-based chartered professional accounting firm.
