RSM promotes three tax partners in Canada
RSM Canada has appointed Irina Im, Gautam Rishi, and Gregory Synanidis as partners in its tax business line, effective January 1, 2026.

Irina Im (Toronto) has more than 15 years of experience advising companies on tax planning, accounting, and reporting and compliance. Im has worked with Canadian and international firms across a variety of industries.
She has been at RSM since 2020, when she joined the firm as a senior tax manager. Before that, Im was a corporate tax manager at Canadian Tire and a tax manager at PwC.
Gregory Synanidis (Montreal) has nearly 15 years of experience in international tax and transfer pricing. He has supported various multinational firms on cross-border transactions, planning, documentation, and dispute resolution.
Synanidis joined RSM in 2018 as a manager, and before that was a senior transfer pricing analyst at MNP and a transfer pricing analyst at Deloitte.
Gautam Rishi (Vancouver) has over 20 years of experience and specializes in Canadian sales and indirect tax planning.
Rishi joined RSM in 2022 as a senior director. Before that, he was a senior manager at Grant Thornton, a manager at PwC and EY, and a senior analyst at Deloitte.
