CGI buys Winnipeg IT consultancy Online Business Systems
Global technology services firm CGI has acquired Online Business Systems, a Winnipeg-based IT consulting firm.
Founded in 1986, Online Business Systems (OBS) works on engagements in digital transformation and cybersecurity. The firm’s digital service line has offerings in business and technical consulting, service management, customer engagement, digital studio, data services, AI, and Salesforce. The cybersecurity service line has offerings in advisory, assessment, offensive security, and cloud security.
OBS has seven offices in Canada, the US, the UK, and South Africa.
As part of the acquisition, 350+ professionals will join CGI across Canada and the US.
