RSM adds SailPoint identity security solution to managed services offering

RSM, a mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has integrated SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) into RSM Defense, its managed security services platform.

SailPoint’s ISC is a unified identity governance and security platform that streamlines identity access management and ensures users have secure access to different data sources. The Austin-based firm, which specializes in identity security software, was founded in 2005 and has more than 2,600 employees.

The integration of ISC will allow RSM Defense to enforce consistent least-privilege access and automate complex security tasks.

RSM Defense delivers 24/7 security monitoring, integrated threat intelligence, and threat detection and response.

RSM says many middle-market companies face major barriers in adopting advanced identity security due to a lack of specialized resources and the complexity of implementing vendor solutions.
