EY named Microsoft’s top consultancy and system integrator in Canada

Microsoft has named EY its top consulting and implementation partner for 2025 in the Canadian market.

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have demonstrated excellence in the use of Microsoft technologies, spanning the full ecosystem of products and services such as ERP (Microsoft Dynamics), workplace (Modern Work), cloud (Azure) and generative artificial intelligence (Copilot).

A global competition, winners were chosen from more than 4,600 nominations across more than 100 countries. In the Americas, awards were handed out across three categories: system integrators, channel, and software.

EY’s recognition as the top system integrator highlights the firm’s excellence in delivering impactful, technology-enabled solutions through Microsoft platforms, helping Canadian organizations tackle complex challenges and advance their modernization efforts.

Doug Carsley, Partner and Microsoft Leader at EY, said: “This recognition reflects the strength of our collaboration with Microsoft and the dedication of our teams that solve real-world problems with practical solutions. We’re proud to contribute to Canada’s digital transformation and help organizations embrace AI to move faster, think bigger and lead with confidence.”

EY’s win in Canada adds to series of wins at the Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards. Globally, EY won the Partner Innovation and Social Impact award for Global Advisory and Consulting Services, and the Big Four firm was also named Partner of the Year in Singapore.

In the local final, EY edged out fellow finalists BDO and KPMG. Other winners in the Americas competition for system integrators included Cognizant (US) and Accenture (Latin America).

“Microsoft extends its sincere congratulations to this year’s Partner of the Year Award winners. Their innovation, excellence, and commitment to delivering transformative solutions continue to help customers succeed and thrive in a rapidly changing world,” said Nina Harding, a Vice President at Microsoft.
