DSS+ acquires Montreal firm Proaction International
DSS+ (formerly DuPont Sustainable Solutions), a Switzerland-based operational consulting firm, has acquired Proaction International, a Montreal-based operational performance management and coaching consultancy.
Founded in 2004, Proaction advise clients on coaching and training of teams, optimization of tools and processes, and digitalization of management via its UTrakk daily management system. The activity monitoring system helps structure management practices and improve frontline team effectiveness via task and priority management, dashboards and reports, coaching, centralized instructions, and digitized communications.
Proaction has 132 senior experts serving clients across manufacturing, industrial, food and beverage, aerospace, automotive, construction, healthcare, and retail sectors.

DSS+ will add the UTrakk application to its digital practice. The global consultancy has Canadian offices in Toronto and Mississauga, Ontario.

DSS+ is the former consulting unit of chemical giant DuPont. The Geneva-based company was spun off in 2019 and sold to private equity firm Gyrus Capital. DSS+ was then in 2023 sold to private equity firm Inflexion.
The consultancy specializes in operational improvement and workplace safety advisory services for industrial firms.
The Proaction deal is the fourth bolt-on for DSS+ since its acquisition by Inflexion. The prior deals were for Infrata (UK), Etscaf (France), and ADS System Safety Consulting (US).
