BCG tops Vault's ranking of Best Consulting Firms to Work For in North America
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) placed first in Vault’s 2025 ranking of the Best Consulting Firms to Work For in North America.
“The global business landscape is rapidly changing, and we saw some notable changes in the rankings this year, including at the top of the Best Overall Consulting Firm to Work For in North America list," said Eric Stutzke, SVP and general ,anager of Vault.
Approximately 12,000 consultants participated in Vault’s survey in fall 2024, rating their own firms on compensation, culture, diversity, hours, work/life balance, leadership, and innovation. Consultants also rated other firms on perceived prestige.
BCG edged out last year’s top-ranked firm, Bain & Company, to sit atop the North American rankings. BCG – which has 32,000 employees globally – was the only North American firm to appear in the top 10 of every quality of life category. The Boston-based strategy firm ranked second behind McKinsey & Company in the category of “prestige” in all three regions in the Vault survey (North America, EMEA, and APAC).
BCG has Canadian offices in Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary.
Bain & Company was deemed the Best Consulting Firm to Work For in the EMEA and APAC regions. The Boston-based strategy firm has offices in 26 cities in EMEA and 17 cities in APAC.
