KPMG appoints Nancy Chase as global risk services leader
KPMG International has appointed Nancy Chase as global leader for risk services, effective October 1, 2024.
Chase, who is based in Ottawa, will see her role as national risk services leader for KPMG Canada expanded globally. In her new position, Chase will be responsible for supporting new risk solutions on a global scale, evolving service delivery models, and working with KPMG member firms to leverage the capabilities of the global network.
Chase, who also serves as advisory business unit leader for Eastern Canada, has been at KPMG Canada for over 25 years. As national risk services leader, she oversees a team of over 80 partners and 900 staff across technology risk, cyber security, financial risk management, forensic, and governance, risk & compliance.
Chase has extensive experience providing telecom, media, and technology firms with services in IPO readiness, SOX 404, enterprise risk management, and internal control advisory.
She has a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Ottawa and is a chartered professional accountant, certified internal auditor, and has a certification in risk management assurance.

KPMG Canada earlier this year announced Benjie Thomas as its next CEO, effective October 1, 2024.
