Ryan Adlington has joined B. Riley Farber, a restructuring and financial advisory firm, as a senior managing director based in Calgary.

Adlington brings more than 20 years of experience in restructuring, financial advisory, and interim management to his new role, where he will lead the Alberta restructuring practice. Adlington will focus on growing the practice’s footprint and team in Western Canada.

He has industry expertise across energy, mining, manufacturing, and technology, and has completed numerous cross-border engagements across the US and Canada.

Adlington previously was a partner in Deloitte’s Calgary office, where he spent nearly six years. Before that, he was partner at KPMG Canada, where he spent 11 years. Adlington was also previously a director at Alvarez & Marsal.

He has bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western University.

B. Riley Farber is the former corporate division of insolvency and restructuring advisor Farber, which was acquired by B. Riley in February 2023. The deal, which did not include Farber’s consumer and tax divisions, added 45 staff across offices in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
