Charles River Associates adds Renée Duplantis as VP in Toronto office
Charles River Associates (CRA), a Boston-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Renée Duplantis, PhD, as a vice president and head of the Canadian competition team.
Based in Toronto, Duplantis brings more than 20 years of experience dealing with complex competition matters in North America and Europe. She has extensive experience testifying in court and presenting to competition agencies around the world.
Duplantis specializes in empirical analysis of competition issues, especially quantifying competitive effects of mergers.
She joins CRA from The Brattle Group, where she spent the last nine years as a principal. Before that, Duplantis spent seven years at Micra, where she was latterly a principal. She also previously served as chief economist at the Canadian Competition Bureau.
Duplantis began her career as a consultant at PwC.She has a PhD in economics from Northeastern University, a master’s degree in economics from Duke University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
