Deloitte acquires Fleet Challenge Canada

Deloitte Canada has acquired Fleet Challenge Canada, a Toronto-based fleet management consulting firm.

Founded in 2005 by Roger Smith, Fleet Challenge is a boutique consultancy that advises on public sector and private vehicle fleets, from municipalities to trucking firms. The firm’s team of fleet managers and automotive experts work with clients on fleet challenges spanning financial, environmental, business structure, strategic planning, organizational efficiency, and cost-competitiveness.

Fleet Challenge has offerings in fleet review, strategy, lifecycle analysis, electric vehicles, long-term planning, best practice review, R&D, and special projects.

Deloitte’s acquisition of Fleet Challenge will expand its existing offerings for mid-market and large clients in fleet management, decarbonization, and electrification. Deloitte acquires Fleet Challenge Canada Smith and his team will join Deloitte’s fleet decarbonization practice within its consulting business. The transaction includes Fleet Challenge’s proprietary tools and databases, including Fleet Analytics Review, a predictive analysis and forecasting tool.
