Cylad appoints Philippe Marcotte as partner in Montreal office
Cylad Consulting, a Paris-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Phillippe Marcotte as a partner in its Montreal office.
Marcotte brings over a decade of consulting and industry experience in healthcare and life sciences. In his new role at Cylad, Marcotte will help grow the firm’s North American business in the healthcare, life sciences, and aerospace sectors.
He joins Cylad from Lotus Medical, a tech-enabled medical clinic network, where he spent the last 4 years as CEO and oversaw multiple venture capital investment rounds. Before that, Marcotte spent three years at McKinsey & Company, where he was an engagement manager leading projects in corporate transformation, M&A, and corporate strategy.
Earlier in his career, Marcotte was an engineering project manager at Delmar Chemicals and Pharmascience.
He has an MBA from McGill University, a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Université de Sherbrooke, and a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from Université de Montréal.

The French consultancy expanded into North America in 2019 with a Montreal office. Van Den Berg, formerly of AlixPartners, was hired to head up the Canadian location.
Founded in 2007, Cylad provides strategy, operations, and organizational transformation services to industrial firms, including aerospace and defense, pharma and healthcare, energy, electronics, and transportation companies.
The firm has 150 employees and 17 partners across offices in France, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and Montreal.
Cylad last year promoted Fabien Lasnaveres to partner in its Montreal location.
