Aptum announces senior leadership appointments

Aptum, a cloud managed services and consulting company, yesterday announced the appointment of four new executives to its senior leadership team.

The Toronto-headquartered IT consultancy said the new appointments will support its new phase of growth in cloud innovation.

Michael Stephens joins as VP of partnerships and strategic alliances. He brings nearly three decades of experience in sales and partner strategy. Stephens most recently served as global partner channel chief at Rackspace Technology, and before that was VP of channels for CenturyLink, holding responsibility for inside sales, pre-sales engineering, and customer success.

Patty Fisher joins as VP of marketing. A senior marketing leader with 20+ years of experience, Fisher has built and led teams across startups, Fortune 100s, and non-profit. She most recently was CMO of EOS Network Foundation and before that held leadership roles at AOL, Verisign, and Sage Software.

David Long joins as VP of North America sales, bringing 24 years of sales experience. He previously held sales leadership roles at Dell Technologies, EMC, Microsoft, and Princeton Softech.Aptum announces senior leadership appointmentsAptum also announced the promotion of Marc Paré to VP of product, where he will oversee development of software solutions that improve user experience and help enterprises manage and monitor cloud operations and performance. Paré has 24 years of experience in IT, with expertise in web operations, sales, and product management. He joined Aptum in January through the acquisition of CloudOps, and previously spent 10 years at Coradiant.

Aptum in August appointed Ian Rae as CEO and president of the company, JP Rosato as chairman of the board, and David Wigglesworth as chief revenue officer.

Aptum delivers managed services in private cloud, public cloud, infrastructure-as-a-service, cloud security, and network management. The firm also offers consulting services to help clients plan, design, implement, and optimize complex IT projects and cloud migrations.
